A collaborative effort between 14 people in the US, Canada and around the world, Coming of Age: An Introduction to the New World Wide Web is available for download in PDF format (1.9M) from http://www.shambles.net/web2/comingofage/index.htm. You'll probably recognize some of the authors, among them David Warlick, Alan November, and Chris Smith. Main objectives of this free publication are first to inspire teachers to want to try some of these "new tools" (web 2.0) for themselves and with their classes, and then to provide practical advice and guidance on how to do so. The content of this copyrighted publication is provided free for your own personal, professional and non-commercial use.
